Apple is my teacher": founder of Huawei against Apple's ban in China

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei believes that China will not ban Apple products in the country in response to US sanctions. But if it does happen, he will be the first to oppose. A top manager even called Apple his teacher:
“As a student, can I go against the teacher? Never".
According to Zhengfei, the ban on doing business in the United States may slow down the development of Huawei for a while, but the company will eventually be able to get out of the situation and retain an advantage in the smartphone market. In addition, the Chinese giant intends to remain the leader in the development and development of fifth-generation networks.
“It depends on how quickly our repairmen can repair the aircraft. Regardless of what materials they use, be it metal, fabric or paper, the goal is to keep the plane in the sky, ”says Ren Zhengfei in an interview with Bloomberg.
Recall, a few days ago, the founder of Huawei admitted to warm feelings for Apple. He noted that he regularly buys new iPhones when he is abroad and does not prohibit his family from using Apple devices.

Huawei founder opposes retaliatory sanctions from China

Ren Zhengfei, CEO and founder of Huawei, gave several interviews last week about blacklisting the company. Talking with Bloomberg, he said that he did not expect and did not expect any retaliation from the Chinese government against Trump’s sanctions.

Zhengfei said that, firstly, this will not happen, and secondly, if this happens, I will be the first to protest. Recall, the US government calls Huawei a threat to national security and is trying to convince consumers to abandon the purchase of devices of a Chinese company. Trump said recently that the measures taken by his administration are a forced step in trade negotiations with China.

In such a situation, the founder of Huawei would be wise to turn to the Chinese government for support, but Ren Zhengfei takes a different approach. He commented that the current unstable situation around Huawei is similar to controlling the plane with a hole in the board, this is very bad, but the plane still continues to fly and the company needs to make appropriate adjustments.

Key Features of Apple 6K Mac

The WWDC 2019 conference will begin a week later, on June 3, and today there is another reason to discuss its program. According to rumors, the main event of Apple will be devoted not only to program announcements, but also to novelties in the category of gadgets. So, we need to show a new generation of modular Mac Pro, as well as Apple's proprietary monitor for professionals - let's talk about it.

According to 9to5Mac, a monitor with a diagonal of 31.6 inches will receive a matrix with support for DCI-P3 color space (probably 100% coverage), HDR, automatic brightness adjustment, Night Shift function and True Tone technology, which adjusts the color temperature of the screen depending on the lighting.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 with a vertical camera setup and New specification Leak

Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Note 10, which is the flagship smartphone in the second half of the year.Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be released in August. This is not much different from the release date of Galaxy Note 9, which was launched last year.
The Galaxy note 10 is expected to make a change as much as the Galaxy S10 because it has the same numbering as the previous Galaxy 10th anniversary 'Galaxy S10'. Until recently, I have gathered information and rumors about how Galaxy note 10 will appear.
Four models ◇

Galaxy note 10 will be available in four versions, according to a new display design. Model names are known as SM-N970, SM-N975, SM-N971, and SM-N976.
Products are divided into general and professional models, which are released separately for LTE and 5G respectively. The general model will have a 6.28-inch screen size and the Pro version will be 6.75 inches, the largest size of the Galaxy note series.
Galaxy Note 10 is expected to have a resolution of 3040x1440 at the same 19: 9 aspect ratio as the Galaxy S10. Infiniti-O display will be applied to the display as well as the S10 series. However, the display design of the Galaxy Note 10 is expected to change slightly in S10. The edge of Galaxy note 10 is expected to have a higher screen curvature than Galaxy Note 7, which had a smaller area.
In addition, there is a possibility that the position of the hole with the camera is shifted to the left or right, but the probability of actual application is low.

◇ Specifications
The Galaxy note10 is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10, but it is expected to be equipped with a triple rear (3) camera. The camera configuration is known as a 12 megapixel standard lens, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens, and a 1600 megapixel camera.
The pro model adds a 3D depth camera (TOF) to the triple camera configuration. This is the same camera configuration as the Galaxy S10 5G. This allows you to accurately determine the object and distance to maximize the effect of the background (blur) and apply live focus to the image in real time. It is also expected to provide convenience facilities that utilize AR (Augmented Reality).
The full-screen camera is expected to be equipped with dual (two) cameras or more. The ultrasonic display fingerprint scanner, which was applied to the Galaxy S10 for the first time, will be applied as it is.
The application processor (AP) is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and Samsung Axis 9820 chipsets, depending on the country in which it is launched.
RAM will be available from 8GB (gigabytes) up to 12GB, and storage will grow from 128GB up to 1TB (terabytes).
The battery is expected to have a large capacity of 4500mAh (milliamperes) in the professional model. This can provide 13% longer usage time than the previous Galaxy Note 9 4000mAh. In addition, the 25W or 50W ultra-fast charging technology that is faster than the existing 15W fast charging seems to be applied. 4300mAh is expected to be applied to the general model.

◇ Released in August?
Galaxy note 10 is expected to be released at the same time as previous Galaxy Note 9, if there is no big change in the foreign market. Galaxy Note 9 began selling on August 24 last year, and the price was $ 999 ($ 1.2 million). Because of this, Gallon 10 is also expected to open at the beginning of August and start selling on horseback. However, prices are expected to rise slightly.
That's because the Galaxy S10, which was released earlier, was sold for $ 900 ($ 1,088) and the S10 Plus for $ 1,000 ($ 1,200). Considering the price of the Galaxy S10, the foreigner expects the Galaxy phone 10 to be sold for $ 1,100 ($ 1,232).

APPLE IOS 13 IPHONE 2019 RUMORS 15 The new iPhone can get a matte body, and the dark theme of iOS 13 can be gray

Popular YouTube-blogger EverythingApplePro and his XDA colleague Max Weinbach shared some of the latest rumors about the new iPhone and iOS 13. Smartphones are expected in September, as is the iOS update (but beta versions will be released in July).
Let's start with the iPhone 11 (or Xl). It is argued that in the two new models will receive OLED-matrix 5.8 and 6.5 inches, respectively. The glass panel at the back will be matte, and the edges of the case are not as glossy as in the iPhone XS. In addition, the projection with the main camera will be noticeably lower.
The main camera is expected to have three sensors: the main 12 megapixels, wide-angle with a viewing angle of 120 degrees and telephoto. Optical stabilization may appear for all modules. Of the other innovations: a flash with high brightness and a larger area of illumination, as well as pumped mode SmartHDR.
The last thing that bloggers have mentioned is the new TrueDepth module. Face recognition can detect you at a wider angle, but the distance of the sensor operation is unlikely to be increased. And new items will get louder stereo speakers than the 2018 models.
Shared to Shared to Shared
The dark theme, which has been repeatedly reported by all sorts of insiders, may differ from what users had expected: dark gray shades will be used instead of deep black. Improvements in the work of Siri are also expected, as well as a function of “smart” memory management and enhanced protection against hacking (and jailbreak setup).

Advertising will appear in WhatsApp in 2020

Whatsapp

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging services, with an active user base of just over 1.2 billion users. The service works for free, and its only source of income is the owners of business accounts. It will not always be so.

The service is owned by Facebook, which confirmed at the annual Facebook Marketing Summit that advertisements will appear in 2020. Advertisements will be displayed in the status section of WhatsApp. It will resemble “stories” by type, like on Instagram. They may contain text, images, video or GIF-animation and will disappear 24 hours after publication.

As with regular user-generated content, ads will occupy the entire screen while browsing, and users will be able to scroll through the ads. For those who do not use the WhatsApp status section, nothing will change, because there will be no advertising in the chats section.

Facebook will allow advertisers to redirect users from Instagram and Facebook to WhatsApp. For example, by clicking on the advertising message you are interested in, the user will be redirected to the WhatsApp chat with the seller. In addition, Facebook has promised more extensive message formatting for business account holders.

Huawei called the release date of the OS to replace Android and Windows

Huawei has told you when it will have an operating system ready, which it can use on smartphones, tablets and computers. It will be released in the event that the US government prohibits Google and Microsoft to provide Huawei licenses for their OS. The version of the Huawei operating system for China will be ready by the fall, and for other countries it will be adapted approximately by mid-2020. The company stressed that this system will be released only if it is permanently banned from using Android and Windows. At the same time, she would prefer to install popular operating systems on her devices, but because of the full embargo, she would have no choice.

The App Gallery app store will be available on the Huawei operating system. The company has been attracting developers to it since 2018 in exchange for helping to promote it, including in the Chinese market. This store will replace the Google Play Store and Microsoft Store. It is already preinstalled on some models of Huawei and Honor smartphones, although by default they use the Play Store.

Apple sent invitations For WWDC 2019

Journalists received invitations to open the WWDC conference. Apple will hold it from June 3 to June 7 at the McEnery Convention Center (San Jose, California, USA).

The invitation shows a unicorn. For what it is there, it is not clear, but probably there is some hidden meaning in it.

It is expected that the WWDC will present major updates for all Apple operating systems, including iOS 13, macOS 10.15 and watchOS 6. In previous years, the company used this event to introduce HomePod, as well as updated MacBook Pro and iMac Pro models, therefore, we should not exclude that this time the “iron” products will be shown, and not just the software.

You can learn more about what Apple has planned for WWDC this year, from this publication .

ARM immediately cancel partnership with Huawei due to US sanctions

The BBC reports that the British chip developer ARM has informed staff about the suspension of its partnership with Huawei in order to comply with US trade sanctions.

ARM management instructed employees to terminate all active contracts, support and other obligations with Huawei and its subsidiaries as a matter of urgency. Despite the fact that the corporation is based in the UK, most of the ARM projects are related to technologies of American origin, which means that the US trade sanctions will be implemented by the company to the full.

Huawei and ARM worked together to create most of the Kirin chipsets, including the latest Kirin 980 processor, which is installed in the Huawei P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro and even in the recently announced Honor 20 ProSuch a restriction thickens the clouds over the Huawei mobile unit, which will be very difficult without access to ARM technologies.

Huawei's own operating system: release date and features

Huawei's own operating system: release date and features

The CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Richard Yu shared the company's plans regarding the release of its own operating system. It will be ready by the autumn of 2019 and will be able to work on smartphones, tablets, computers, in on-board computers of cars and on wearable electronics.

The Huawei operating system is called indepenOS. It is possible that closer to the release date, the company will come up with something more melodic and rename it, for example, KirinOS or HonorOS. It is known that indepenOS is compatible with Android applications, however, developers will have to recompile their projects in order to port them to this OS. The situation was similar with Tizen, but, unlike Samsung, Huawei wants to create a complete analog of Android, and not a simplified platform for low-cost devices.

The conflict between the US government and Huawei is currently on fire The Trump administration has banned local companies, including Google, from collaborating with Huawei. After three months, the Chinese manufacturer will no longer be able to purchase components for its devices in the US, and will also lose its license to install Android with Google’s built-in services.

Google kept user passwords in clear view

Google kept user passwords in clear view

Since 2005, the logins and passwords of some corporate users of the G Suite service have been stored in clear text. This was reported by Google, without specifying how many people affected this problem.

Usually passwords are encrypted and presented in the form of hash sums for that. G Suite account administrators can manually download, install and recover new passwords for employees of organizations. According to Google, the storage of these passwords was organized in such a way that copies of passwords were stored in an unencrypted form, which is why some Google employees could see them in clear text. Currently the issue has been fixed. According to Google, no one took advantage of this vulnerability, all accounts remained secure. Currently, about 5 million people use G Suite services.

What will be Google Pixel 4: the most popular leaks

What will be Google Pixel 4: the most popular leaks

Recently, "budget" smartphones Google - Pixel 3a and 3a XL. And soon we are waiting for the following new company. We are talking about the flagship line of Pixel 4. They will present in the fall. What they will be - the fourth "pixel"?

Top Features

From leaks known "filling" of future smartphones. This is the most powerful Android processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. IP68 water protection, fast charging support, stereo speakers, and Android 10 Q operating system are also reported.

Display and opening under the front camera

The next leak will probably be quite unexpected for fans. Google, without changing traditions, made in smartphones only one camera for all 3 generations. And no matter how good this camera is, we have to admit that in the modern world more than one lens is already needed.
Therefore, this time in Pixel 4 there will be a double camera. Module configuration is not reported.
But there is information about the location of the second lens: the camera will be placed horizontally in the upper left corner, and not vertically, like most modern devices.

Dual camera

The next leak will probably be quite unexpected for fans. Google, without changing traditions, made in smartphones only one camera for all 3 generations. And no matter how good this camera is, we have to admit that in the modern world more than one lens is already needed.
Therefore, this time in Pixel 4 there will be a double camera. Module configuration is not reported.
But there is information about the location of the second lens: the camera will be placed horizontally in the upper left corner, and not vertically, like most modern devices.

Housing without hardware buttons

The most interesting, but quite probable leak: the case with a solid aluminum frame will not receive physical buttons. They will be replaced by sensors. They will be located on the right side face.
This innovation may allow the company to expand the ability of the Google Active Edge feature to work over the entire area of the frame. In its current form, it is prevented by the hardware buttons.

New items should announce in October 2019.

Huawei received a suspension of sanctions

Huawei received a suspension of sanctions

The history of the struggle of the United States against Huawei is gaining momentum. We previously reported that Google has suspended cooperation with the company and revoked the license for Android under the order of Donald Trump. Today, these events received a new plot twist.

The US Department of Commerce delayed the presidential order for 90 days, starting today, with some amendments. According to information from Reuters, during this period, Huawei will be able to acquire American-made components to maintain the network infrastructure and update software for devices already released. Despite this, a ban remains in place for new products.

Thus, the revocation of the Android license has been postponed for 90 days, which means that Huawei can certify OS updates on Google for its devices. It is not yet known whether this period will be enough to provide certificates for updates on Android Q. We assume that the company will make every effort to do so.

The postponement for Huawei will expire on August 19, perhaps by this time the United States and China will adjust the situation, coming to mutually beneficial agreements.

Huawei smartphones will remain without Android updates and Google services

Huawei smartphones will remain without Android updates and Google services

According to a Reuters source, Google has suspended cooperation with Huawei, under which it transferred hardware and software developments, including the Android operating system. The decision followed the appearance of a Chinese company in the “black list” of the US Department of Commerce.

The agency claims that since the termination of cooperation Huawei smartphones will no longer receive Android updates, and new devices will not have access to Google services, including the Google Play app store, Gmail, YouTube mail and others. Huawei will have access to the open version of Android, but the company will lose technical support from Google.

The information has already been confirmed by Google. It is also known that Huawei lawyers in China are currently studying the situation, but the company refuses any comments on this matter.

In Thursday, May 16, US Department of Commerce has made  Huawei and 70 related companies in the black list ", contrary to the national security activities of States" for. The decision obliges American manufacturers who sell Huawei any equipment or technology to obtain a special license from the US authorities for any cooperation.

In 2016, the US authorities  suspected that Huawei was spying on users and transmitting the collected data to the Chinese government. In August 2018, Donald Trump  signed a decree that introduces a state of emergency in the country to protect information technologies from external threats, in particular, industrial espionage. The decree allowed the US Department of Commerce to block transactions involving foreign communications companies if they pose a threat to the country's security.

In March 2019, Huawei Executive Director Richard Yu said that Huawei already has its own operating systems for smartphones and computers in case of banning Android and Windows. At the same time, the company notes that they do not want to abandon other people's operating systems, and would prefer Google and Microsoft ecosystems.
