Apple quietly introduced the new iPod touch

Cupertino just rolled out an updated iPod touch with an Apple A10 Fusion chip. The new player looks exactly the same as the previous model of the fourth generation. It is equipped with a 4-inch screen with thick frames and a physical button “Home” without an identifier.

The new iPod touch, in addition to the powerful processor, received a storage capacity of 256 GB, in addition to this, versions with 32 and 128 gigabytes are available. Until today, Apple last updated its player in 2015. This model is very outdated and did not support ARKit and FaceTime group calls, because the A8 processor power was not enough.

New iPod touch, finally, joins the current model range of mobile devices Apple, which support all the features of the current version of iOS. Despite this, touch continues to lag behind. Its design has not changed since 2012, and it lacks biometric identification functions. The screen size has remained the same. Apple on the player page focuses on games, but 4 inches is negligible for 2019 to comfortably play games, even mobile ones. Prices for new items:

  • 32GB -  199$
  • 128 GB -299$
  • 256 GB - 399$
iPod touch 2019 is available in six colors: pink, silver, gold, blue, space gray and (PRODUCT) RED. Today's update of the player is a little disappointing, as it didn’t even get the latest generation flagship processor, instead customers will have to be content with the A10 chip.

Recall, Apple is going to announce iOS 13 as early as next week. As for iPods, the company only supports the latest generation, which may mean that iOS 12 will become the latest version of the operating system for previous generation players.

Apple is my teacher": founder of Huawei against Apple's ban in China

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei believes that China will not ban Apple products in the country in response to US sanctions. But if it does happen, he will be the first to oppose. A top manager even called Apple his teacher:
“As a student, can I go against the teacher? Never".
According to Zhengfei, the ban on doing business in the United States may slow down the development of Huawei for a while, but the company will eventually be able to get out of the situation and retain an advantage in the smartphone market. In addition, the Chinese giant intends to remain the leader in the development and development of fifth-generation networks.
“It depends on how quickly our repairmen can repair the aircraft. Regardless of what materials they use, be it metal, fabric or paper, the goal is to keep the plane in the sky, ”says Ren Zhengfei in an interview with Bloomberg.
Recall, a few days ago, the founder of Huawei admitted to warm feelings for Apple. He noted that he regularly buys new iPhones when he is abroad and does not prohibit his family from using Apple devices.

Key Features of Apple 6K Mac

The WWDC 2019 conference will begin a week later, on June 3, and today there is another reason to discuss its program. According to rumors, the main event of Apple will be devoted not only to program announcements, but also to novelties in the category of gadgets. So, we need to show a new generation of modular Mac Pro, as well as Apple's proprietary monitor for professionals - let's talk about it.

According to 9to5Mac, a monitor with a diagonal of 31.6 inches will receive a matrix with support for DCI-P3 color space (probably 100% coverage), HDR, automatic brightness adjustment, Night Shift function and True Tone technology, which adjusts the color temperature of the screen depending on the lighting.

APPLE IOS 13 IPHONE 2019 RUMORS 15 The new iPhone can get a matte body, and the dark theme of iOS 13 can be gray

Popular YouTube-blogger EverythingApplePro and his XDA colleague Max Weinbach shared some of the latest rumors about the new iPhone and iOS 13. Smartphones are expected in September, as is the iOS update (but beta versions will be released in July).
Let's start with the iPhone 11 (or Xl). It is argued that in the two new models will receive OLED-matrix 5.8 and 6.5 inches, respectively. The glass panel at the back will be matte, and the edges of the case are not as glossy as in the iPhone XS. In addition, the projection with the main camera will be noticeably lower.
The main camera is expected to have three sensors: the main 12 megapixels, wide-angle with a viewing angle of 120 degrees and telephoto. Optical stabilization may appear for all modules. Of the other innovations: a flash with high brightness and a larger area of illumination, as well as pumped mode SmartHDR.
The last thing that bloggers have mentioned is the new TrueDepth module. Face recognition can detect you at a wider angle, but the distance of the sensor operation is unlikely to be increased. And new items will get louder stereo speakers than the 2018 models.

The dark theme, which has been repeatedly reported by all sorts of insiders, may differ from what users had expected: dark gray shades will be used instead of deep black. Improvements in the work of Siri are also expected, as well as a function of “smart” memory management and enhanced protection against hacking (and jailbreak setup).

Apple sent invitations For WWDC 2019

Journalists received invitations to open the WWDC conference. Apple will hold it from June 3 to June 7 at the McEnery Convention Center (San Jose, California, USA).

The invitation shows a unicorn. For what it is there, it is not clear, but probably there is some hidden meaning in it.

It is expected that the WWDC will present major updates for all Apple operating systems, including iOS 13, macOS 10.15 and watchOS 6. In previous years, the company used this event to introduce HomePod, as well as updated MacBook Pro and iMac Pro models, therefore, we should not exclude that this time the “iron” products will be shown, and not just the software.

You can learn more about what Apple has planned for WWDC this year, from this publication .
